Royal Reels Slots
Rich red and gold touches drip from the reels of this game… but then, they are Royal Reels, aren’t they?

Let’s find out how many regal touches we can expect from this slot game, as we review every part of it below. Don’t play before you’ve read the details.

Who created the game?

This may not look like a Betsoft game, but it does indeed come from their collection.

Does it offer the usual demo version?

Yes, you can try it to see how it works before using any real coins from your gaming budget.

It’s got an obvious theme

We are looking at a royal theme here, although there is no association with any specific royal family. You’ll see plenty of crowns and jewels though.

What did we make of the design?

It’s another promising one from Betsoft, although they haven’t given us any 3D symbols here. There is a red banner across the top of the set of reels, with the gold title writing on top of it. Plenty more gold and red touches go through the entire game as well.

How to play the Royal Reels slot game

Let’s begin by confirming the presence of five reels in the game. With three symbols on each, everything sounds familiar enough so far. There’s no progressive jackpot in action though.

Diamonds are every player’s best friend here, as they act as wild symbols for other icons. There are two exceptions here though; the first is the crown and the second is the collection of gems.

How many lines are there in this game?

There are 30 in all.

Choose coins from two cents apiece

This means it would cost 60 cents to play all the lines, so keep that in mind. Betsoft also gives us various other coins to bump up the total wagers you could go for.

Don’t miss the slot game paytable

It’s common with older Betsoft games to see this linked in the top right corner. We can confirm that’s true of this one as well.

Two bonuses to look for

The first one involves finding three of the multi-gem icons on the same paid line. Any line will do, but the gems must appear on reels one, two, and three on the same line to count. If you manage to achieve this outcome, you are invited to pick one of those symbols to receive an instant credit prize.

Next up, we have the crown bonus. As you can guess, you must find three of the crowns (or more) on a paid line. As with the previous bonus, these must also land on consecutive reels on the same paid line from the left side of the game. In this case, you are shown five crowns. Each one hides a prize, so choose the crown that you think hides the best one and see what you’ve won. That’s it – it’s back to the base game after your pick.

How about any free spins?

Unfortunately, Royal Reels doesn’t include any of those.

A disappointingly low RTP for Royal Reels

We’ve noticed this with other games from Betsoft, particularly those that are now a few years old. In this case, we have a low value of just 92.93%.

Our rating: Is this a royal delight?

Royal Reels is a reasonable game to play, but we dislike the low return to player percentage. It would be better if it was higher and if there were free spins available as well. As such, we find it hard to push our score higher than 6.5 out of 10.

Prize possibilities in this game

Royal Reels does have an array of prizes in the paytable, but the low RTP means that it offers a far lower potential return than other slots do from this developer.

Watch for the demo to pop up to give you a chance to play

If you find the Royal Reels slot at any online casino, you can certainly check it out and see whether the game offers any promising gaming for you.

Play for real when you spot it at an online casino

There are lots of Betsoft casinos out there offering tons of their games. This one might be harder to find, but if you do spot it, you can always play the real version if you like the look of it.

Mobile accessibility

The regal look makes this a striking game to check out on all devices.
