Whospunit Slots
Who could say no to a great murder mystery thriller? We love them, so when we saw this slot game on offer, we just had to check it out. We’re no good at solving mysteries, but there is certainly no mystery to why Whospunit is such an entertaining slot game. Come with us as we discover what happened to whom and when…

Game studio details

The Whospunit slot comes from the brilliant minds at Betsoft. We haven’t seen anything quite the same as this before or since.

Don’t miss your chance to play the demo

The game is a delight to play, yet it does involve a lot of features. If there ever was a need for a practice spin or two (or a few), this game certainly does need it.

A real whodunit theme

Few can resist a good mystery, and Betsoft are banking on slot players falling into that same category. All the finest parts of a classic whodunit are here.

Another brilliant 3D design to behold

The 3D imagery gives this one necessary depth. You can meet lots of characters on the reels, along with clue boards and magnifying glasses among other elements.

What to expect when you play the Whospunit slot

You’ll see five reels for starters, along with controls underneath and various other elements around the reels. This game has a lot to offer, but it doesn’t include a progressive jackpot among those features.

A golden wild comes in useful during the game, acting as the usual substitute icon. You can see this in all the play modes and in all levels as well. Wait… modes and levels? Yep – this is a mystery, remember? So, we have three ways to play, with the murder weapon, the crime scene, and the murderer targeted in each one.

As you’d expect, you’ll see changing symbols in action for each play mode. Lots of weapons turn up in that version of the game, with assorted scenes of crime icons in the next one. And then we get to meet plenty of potential murderers…

You’ve also got an evidence folder in action as the scatter. Are you keeping up? This is surely a game where the demo version becomes more important than ever.

Paylines in the Whospunit slot

We’ve got 30 to contend with.

A familiar betting selection available

Betsoft loves offering coins worth from two cents to 50 cents in many of its games, and it has done that here as well. You may decide to play more than one coin per line, with up to five available on each one.

Don’t forget to review the paytable

Make sure you check it out and read it thoroughly before you play the game. This is very involved, and it is ideal to find out more about it before you consider doing anything else. You can then check out the practice game to learn how it all works.

How about a bonus round where you try to solve the crime?

We’ve gone into the free spin round below, but the bonus leads on from that. When you find the evidence folder on the middle reel, in the center spot, you’ll try and find the murderer to gain a bonus prize.

What about some free spins?

When you go through the levels in the game, you’ll pick up clue coins. If you manage to go into detective mode, you can exchange your clue coins for spins.

Elsewhere in the game, you can get a line-up featuring all the suspects for the crime, and if this occurs, you’ll play some free games. Each of the suspects carries a different twist for the free games, and you can choose which one you’d like to play before you begin.

A strong RTP

Whospunit goes into action with a return to player value of 97.6%, so that’s another reason to check it out.

Our rating: Is Whospunit worth a spin?

If you love murder mysteries, we cannot think of a better slot game to recommend. It does have a slice of everything, with so much to offer it’s hard to explain it all in this review. This is clearly a 10/10 game for innovation, quirkiness, theme, prizes, and more.

The body is the best prize winner!

You can see the feet and lower legs of the body in one of the images landing in the game. If you find that alarming image in all five spots on a line you placed a wager on, you’ll receive 1,000x your line bet.

Make sure you begin with the demo

It’s wise to do this because you can see how it works and understand the features a little more. There are timed elements here as you play different parts of the game, with clues to collect, people to question, and plenty more involved.

Will you change over to play for real?

We think you will – we did, although we enjoyed a long demo session beforehand.

Mobile murder mysteries!

It’s possible to try this one on your tablet or smartphone as well, regardless of whether you use Android or iOS devices.
