Who has arrived – and are their friend or foe? We were curious to learn who was involved in this slot game, so we loaded it and played for a while to review it for you here. Arrival is a simple name, but does it hide a more complicated slot? Let’s see what we managed to find out.
Who is behind Arrival?
The team behind Arrival is the same one behind many other amazing 3D online slot games… and the name is Betsoft.
Access the practice slot first to find out more
It looks just like the real thing and comes with a balance of 1,000 credits to play with. You can’t withdraw them, but you can see how you might play the real game if you use these to experiment for a bit.
Have you guessed the theme?
Arrival covers the arrival of aliens, so this takes us into space with spaceships, aliens, and a heroic-looking guy who may have been sent to combat them… or talk to them? We’re not sure, but it all looks appealing.
A space-themed design
In front of the reels, you’ll see a brain-headed alien inside a glass helmet, watching progress as you play. Once you get past that strange sight, there are many other themed symbols on the reels, with flashing lights and other elements building the theme as well.
How to play Arrival slots
Five reels appear once you’re ready to play, with three symbols on each one. There isn’t a standard wild symbol, but you could get a wild reel. To get this, find three or more of the brain-headed aliens on the reels to get one entire reel going wild. This wild reel is in action for a few spins. You’ll need to play to see how many spins you get.
There are two other vital symbols as well. The first is the raygun and the second is the girl wearing big glasses. More on those in a bit.
A decent quantity of paylines
Yep – you’ve got 30 to bet on in this slot. They’re not fixed.
How to bet on the Arrival slot
First, choose your coin value. This goes from one cent up to one dollar. Next choose your bet per line. This goes from one through to five coins. Finally, your default line quantity is 30, and we recommend you keep it that way.
Where is the paytable?
The modern release of Arrival has a burger icon in the top left of the screen. This hides other options, one of which takes you through to the paytable.
Two bonus features make it into the Arrival slot game
Remember the raygun we mentioned earlier? This triggers an instant prize feature involving UFOs. You need at least three rayguns anywhere in view to get through to this Click Me feature. Choose UFOs to score prizes.
The second bonus unlocks with three of the girls wearing glasses appearing anywhere. You need to help the heroic character try to rescue her from the brain-headed alien we met earlier.
What about some free spins?
Sadly, Arrival slots don’t have any of these. You do, however, get a few spins free of charge if you trigger the wild reel feature.
A low RTP for this game
It looks like the game comes in with a low value of 92.26%. This is surprisingly low, especially when you consider we look for a minimum of around 96% across all the games we review.
Our rating for the Arrival slot
The low return to player percentage drops our score lower than it would otherwise be for this one. That and the lack of a progressive prize gives us a 7/10 score. Otherwise, it all looks really cool.
The hero pays well in this one
Of all the standard symbols appearing over the reels (and there are no card suits in action here), you can find five heroes on a paid line to receive 400x the line bet.
Fancy some demo play?
You can get it by checking out the practice slot and loading that to learn more about Arrival.
Play for real at all participating casinos
Betsoft is a popular developer, so it isn’t unusual to see their brand name among others at several leading casinos.
Access the game on tablet and smartphone as well
You can find Arrival among many other 3D slot games at casinos offering mobile alternatives too. Touchscreen controls work well.
