At the Copa or at the Movies? Experience Both With Betsoft

At The Movies Slots
Betsoft is keen to take us to all manner of locations with its foray into the world of slots. For example, they’ve given us At the Copa, a dance-based slot game, and At the Movies, which does indeed take us to the movies for some entertainment.

We decided to pit these two games against one another, so we could work out whether one destination was better than the other. Read on to see what we found out… and which game we preferred. You may find you prefer one over the other as well.

At the Copa

If a song is beginning to play away in your head, by Barry Manilow, you are on the path to the theme of this game. When it loads, you’ll find yourself in a dance-based setting, and very appealing it is too.

This is one of Betsoft’s 3D slots, so that alone gives this a positive start. Carolina introduces us to the game and stands to the left of the five reels we can spin when we play. The slot has three jackpots too, all with amazing names… Caliente, Mediano, and Suave… with the latter being the largest of all.

The paytable highlights two men who like dancing as well. You’ll also see flamingoes and drums along with cocktails. Look for three dancing shoes to dance your way into a free spin feature. You’ve also got some wilds and a bonus round to look for – and if you can find the latter, you’ve got a chance to see which dancer can wow Carolina as you play…

At the Movies

Prepare to spot some familiar symbols – including a man-eating plant – as you load this five-reel game. You’ll find yourself outside the movie theater here, with lights, movie posters, and cameras popping up in and around the reels. There is popcorn and a ticket booth as well.

The comedy and drama masks are used as wilds, and the scattered movie camera pays for two or more… while giving away free spins if you find three or more. We don’t have a bonus feature here though, so in that respect it can’t match At the Copa. It does take advantage of the experienced team of creators at Betsoft though, especially as the icons all look superb.

Which game do we prefer?

Let’s be honest – there is a lot to enjoy with each of these games, yet they are very different beasts. Each one looks sharp and eye-catching, but while there are elements of 3D presentation techniques in At the Movies, it doesn’t have the same depth as At the Copa.

You can guess our favorite, then… At the Copa. The dance-based theme isn’t unusual, but it does do more with it than many other games have done in the past. It’s far from new but it stays as one of Betsoft’s better 3D slot games. Try it – and At the Movies – at a range of online casinos offering games from this developer today.
